Article
ok. The aritcle i read can be found in the magazine PC Photo, the march/april of 2007 issue.
the actual article can be found on page 78.
Photographing The Landscape.
so basically this article talks about how to take pictures of a landscape. Mostly it talks about taking pictures of the things that capture your interest when looking at a landscape. you dont want to get too much in the picture or it becomes crowded, and people may lose interest. the main point of this article is to take pictures but just keep enough in the picture to not make it confusing. just take a picture of what caught your interest in the first place

Good/Bad Photo Analysis
What i think makes this a "good" picture is that fact that its very vivid, with all the use of the different filters it really brings out the colors of the sky and the setting sun. I am also a fan of the simplicity of the photo.
This next picture may not be as simple as the first one but thats one of the reason i chose it, I like this picture because the colors are pretty amazing. The picture also has some awesome clarity and there are so many things to look at.
What i think qualifies this picture as a "bad" picture is the fact that the colors are washed and it looks like it was ripped off of someones painting on the wall.

What i know about photography? not very much. i know that SLR cameras are amazing. i also know that it photography can be a very expensive hobby to get involved in.
What i want to learn about photography, is all of the technical things like aperture and ISO settings and all the schtuff like that. i also would like to know how to light scenes better with different lighting effects and all the goods to make professional looking pictures.
